The Three Rondavels

The Three Rondavels are Mpumalanga’s major tourist attraction and they are located at the top or northern end of the canyon which is the third largest canyon in the world. This amazing landmark is on the Panorama Route of Mpumalanga. They are three round-shaped mountain tops with pointed tops which are similar to our traditional round African homesteads also known as huts making them dear to our hearts and must-see destination of every South African.

The sacred Lake Funduzi

The amazing Lake Funduzi is located nestled in the mountainous area of Tshiavha in the Soutpansberg in the Limpopo Province. This lake is one of three sites covered in mystery, completely adored by locals and irresistible to visitors. Limpopo's Lake Fundudzi is sacred to the Venda people and for good reason. According to local legend, the lake is said to be protected by a Python God.

Golden cliffs of the Free State

Golden cliffs of the Free State are the ancient sandstone cliffs of Golden Gate National Park, made up of desert sand from 200 million years ago. It is now South Africa’s number one diverse climbing destination and they are known as the “golden gates” The Golden Gate National Park which is about 120 kilometres south east of Bloemfontein which is the capital city of the Free State Province
